I encounted this error when trying to delete a site page from ‘Site Pages’ document library.

Cause:

This issue occurs when you forget to republish a page after editing, then try to delete after words.

Resolution

To fix this error:

• Click on the site page you wish to delete from ‘Site Pages library‘.
• Click on Republish.

• Now head back to ‘Site pages’ library
• Then delete!

There you go!!
